That is a fascinating prospect. Does everyone in your world have some sort of inherited magic? Or is it reserved to certain groups?
It is good to see that even as displaced from our homes as we are, there are still some willing to put their on needs and comfort aside to come to the aide of others.
[He trudges along, testing the ground with his staff as they walk to avoid any sudden trips. The terrain was treacherous enough without being bogged down with mud... at least more than he was from having to kneel from tending wounds.
The conversation- and the breather from attacking birds- was doing well to pick up his mood somewhat.]
[He was under some assumption there were other elves out there, and that it would probably benefit to be specific.]
A race once immortal and gifted with magic, fallen to wind up as slaves and servants, or misguided nomads trying to form a culture from scraps they do not understand.
